I'm Mori, based in central London since 2022. Most of what I shoot is couples and weddings, but portrait sessions come up a fair amount too - a photo for a dating app, a LinkedIn picture that doesn't look like it was taken in an office kitchen, or just wanting a proper set of photos of yourself that you'd actually use.
Who books a portrait session
A few reasons come up again and again. Updating photos for dating apps, and wanting something that looks like an actual day rather than a studio backdrop. A professional headshot for work or LinkedIn. Marking something… a new job, a birthday, moving to London. Or no occasion at all, just wanting decent photos of yourself for once.
What a session looks like
We walk, we talk, I take photos along the way. Not much standing against a wall being told to relax. Most people stop noticing the camera about twenty minutes in, which is usually when the better photos start happening.
Where should we shoot?
Somewhere in London that suits you — a neighbourhood you actually spend time in works better than a landmark you've never been to. Regent Park, Sloane Square. If you're not sure, tell me what you want the photos for and I'll suggest somewhere.

I hate having my photo taken. Is this still for me?
Yes, that's most people who book this, if it helps.
Can these be used for dating apps?
Yes, a fair number of people book a session for exactly this. I'll shoot a mix through the session so you end up with options that look like you on a normal day rather than one posed shot repeated five times.
Do you shoot headshots for work or LinkedIn?
Yes. Same relaxed approach, just with a couple of frames that work as a straightforward headshot.
How many photos will I get?
For one hour you will get around 60 photos(sometimes even more)
How long does a session take?
1 hour ~ 3 hour.
