Some places never really leave you. For Ivy, London is one of them.
Ivy moved to the UK for boarding school as a child and stayed through university, only moving back to Taiwan about ten years later. Now recently married, she and Cheng are currently living apart, her in Taiwan, him in Japan, meeting up once or twice a month when they can.
When I asked Ivy if she ever wished Cheng could just be with her all the time, she said growing up in boarding school meant she never really needed someone by her side constantly, and that she'd rather he be wherever makes him happiest in his work.
For this shoot, they chose London. Ivy wanted to show Cheng the place she grew up in, so we spent the day at Big Ben, UCL and British museum.
